From Leeds city centre you can take any bus that runs to Seacroft Bus Station including the 4, 11, 16, 40, 50, 50A, 71, and 840
The hub is behind Seacroft Green Shopping Centre.
Car parking at Irford House is very limited so we would recommend making use of the car park at Seacroft Green Shopping Centre.
Seacroft Groups and Activities
SMART Recovery – 11.30pm-1.30pm (except 1st Tuesday of month)
SMART helps individuals seeking abstinence from addictive behaviours to gain independence, achieve recovery and lead meaningful and satisfying lives. The approach is secular and science based; using motivational, behavioural and cognitive methods. For more information visit the SMART website
Mind Your Head Group – 2.30pm-4pm (excl. 1st Tuesday of month)
Learn to become more mindful over the course of 6 short sessions. Paying more attention to the present moment and the world around you can improve your mental health instead of being on ‘automatic pilot’ or distracted by thoughts focussed in the past or future.
Which Way Now – 1pm-3pm
Made big changes to your alcohol or drug use already but not sure where to start planning the next step? Are you anxious about being able to stay abstinent after a detox, or worried that you don’t have the experience, confidence or support that you need to leave treatment? Which Way Now is a 3-month course that looks at all aspects of your recovery and the help that is available to get you where you want to be.
Detox Preparation Group – 10am-12pm (last Thursday of the month)
This single session group explores why withdrawals happen and how to control them; an honest look at the pros and cons of each method, and the preparations you can make now to avoid relapse and support your long term recovery.
Art Therapy LS14 Trust – 10am-11.30pm
Come and create something of your own from a variety of materials in a safe supportive environment. Engaging the creative aspect of your mind can enhance wellbeing, improve attention and reduces stress. You don’t have to be Picasso to get something out of Art Therapy.
Springboard – 1pm-3pm
These sessions aim to increase your confidence and motivation, and help you challenge and change thoughts and feelings that have contributed to self-defeating behaviour and kept you stuck in a vicious circle.
