Forward Leeds volunteers gather for celebratory lunch

Forward Leeds treat volunteers to a thank you lunch for their hard work

Thanks for your help, everyone! Forward Leeds put on a special Christmas lunch for volunteers to thank them for their hard work and dedication.

Seated amidst the festive decorations, 14 volunteers enjoyed two courses of dishes ranging from pizzas and calzones to burgers and sandwiches, courtesy of Forward Leeds.

The conversation flowed as everyone enjoyed the food and shared stories.

Richard Hedges, Peer Mentor and Volunteer Coordinator at Forward Leeds said “The lunch was a thank you for all the volunteers’ hard work over the past year. It was a chance for them to get together, meet new people and talk about their shared experiences of volunteering.

“The whole event was really worthwhile.”
