5 WAYS is excited to announce the launch of a new Couch to 5K programme in collaboration with Recovery Runners.
This innovative initiative aims to inspire people in recovery of all fitness levels to begin a transformational journey from the couch to running, or walking, five kilometres.
Meeting every week the couch to 5K programme is a structured and supportive nine-week plan designed to gradually build participants’ fitness and confidence.
Kevin Morris of 5 WAYS said: “We’re delighted to have Recovery Runners here, with all their experience and expertise to support people as they either start or get back into running”.
Dean of Recovery Runners said: “You’ll achieve something you never thought possible, you’ll get new friends a new sense of community and feel like a new you. Come and give it a go, you’ll honestly surprise yourself!”
The Couch to 5K programme kicks off with an introductory session, come down for a chat and a brew at 5.30pm and get started with the running at 6pm, on Wednesday 7 August, 2024, at 5 WAYS.
