Open Mic Night Returns to 5 WAYS This December

The recovery community in Leeds is being invited to take to show their many talents again as 5 WAYS hosts another of its popular Open Mic Nights on Friday 4 December 2026.

The event is a welcoming and supportive space for people in recovery from issues with alcohol and/or drugs to share their gifts through music, poetry, spoken word, comedy, storytelling, and more. The 5 WAYS Open Mic Nights have become a much-loved part of the calendar, bringing people together to celebrate creativity, connection, and the positive changes recovery can make possible.

Whether you’re performing or simply coming along to support others, the evening promises an inspiring atmosphere and a chance to meet others from across Leeds’ recovery community.

Anyone interested in performing on the night is encouraged to contact 5 WAYS in advance. To take to the stage, performers must be in recovery from an issue with alcohol and/or drugs.

A free meal and soft drinks will be provided, and the event will be alcohol and drug-free. Attendees must be abstinent from alcohol and other drugs on the night.
