Forward Leeds attended a couple of events at the main Leeds Pride weekend.
On Saturday 5 August they were in Leeds City Museum on Millennium Square at the LGBT+ Pride Market Place. This was a chance to find out about LGBT+ services, support and community groups in Leeds.
The event was opened at midday by the Lord Mayor of Leeds. Other groups with booths included the Barnardos Positive Identities group, Yorkshire MESMAC, St Annes Community Services and The Marketplace.
For the main event on Sunday 6 August Forward Leeds had a stall on Leeds Bridge for anyone who had any questions at all about alcohol or drugs.
Forward Leeds also provided advice and support for those who thought they might need help for others
There was lots of information given out, lots of queries answered. Mainly though it was just a lot of fun and very much done in the spirit of Leeds Pride.
