You will support and provide interventions to people affected by alcohol, within a range of community settings. This will be an exciting opportunity to address the unmet needs of people who have difficulties engaging with conventional treatment systems.
You will work closely with the Team Manager and will be responsible for your own case load of service users. You will organise face to face appointments and deliver therapeutic sessions including safe alcohol reduction plans, risk assessments and harm reduction/relapse prevention work. You will also link in with GP’s, Healthcare Assistants, Hospital Teams, and Rehab Facilities to work holistically in supporting services users to achieve their planned treatment goals.
