As part of the Harm Reduction Social Support Team you will provides assertive outreach to drug and alcohol users across Leeds. You’ll be working with people who are struggling with substance-related issues, helping them access the support they need. It’s all about being a friendly, supportive advocate who ensures their health and social needs are met. Plus, you’ll be working closely with other services to make sure everyone gets the help they deserve.
You will be part of a dynamic and responsive team, so a positive attitude and a willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of our service users are essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting people affected by substance use
- Speaking up for them and making sure they get the right help
- Building relationships with other services and finding new ways to support the community
