You will provide people within Forward Leeds and the wider community with an accessible, efficient, and compassionate service. This includes working with people who are drinking alcohol at harmful levels. You will support and advocate on their behalf, ensuring as far as possible their health and social needs are met. You will work closely with other agencies and be proactive in establishing links with new partners.
As part of the Harm Reduction Social Support Team you will provide assertive outreach to drug and alcohol users across Leeds and work with all partners attached to Forward Leeds and external services. You will provide enhanced social support such as housing, benefits and wrap-around provision.
You will be part of a dynamic and responsive team so a positive attitude and a willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the people we support is essential.
