You will provide substance users within Forward Leeds and the wider community with an accessible, efficient, and compassionate service. This includes working with people who are drinking alcohol at harmful levels. You will support and advocate on their behalf, ensuring as far as possible their health and social needs are met. You will work closely with other agencies and be proactive in establishing links with new partners.
You will play a key role in supporting the most vulnerable in our community to reduce barriers and enable them to engage in Forward Leeds care. As part of the Harm Reduction Social Support Team, you will work out in the community to provide assertive outreach to drug and alcohol users across Leeds and work with all partners attached to Forward Leeds and external services.
