The successful candidate will support the team manager with the day-to-day management of the team, whilst holding a small service user caseload, supporting them to make positive changes to their drinking or substance misuse. The successful candidate will also line-manage trainee members of the team and will lead on the planning of Forward Leeds campaigns and events.
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of harm reduction messages, risk management, recovery planning, therapeutic interventions and be able to support clients to address their alcohol and drug (non-opiate) problems. They will need to be confident in their abilities, have good communication and record keeping skills and be self-motivated.
