We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Criminal Justice Drug and Alcohol Practitioner to join our dynamic and expanding criminal justice team on a fixed term basis. Our team is committed to providing support for individuals whose lives have been impacted by problematic substance and/or alcohol use and their involvement in the criminal justice system, including custodial sentences, mandated orders, and conditional cautions.

Work experience Matters! We highly value hands-on experience in the fields of substance use, criminal justice, and mental health. Your practical experience, whether through work or volunteering, is essential. While qualifications are beneficial, they are not mandatory. We believe in the power of real-world experience and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference.
As a Criminal Justice Drug and Alcohol Practitioner, you will:
- Provide Tailored Support: Offer specialised, individualised support to empower clients to make positive changes in their lives.
- Collaborate for Success: Collaborate with colleagues in prisons, probation, courts, and police teams to provide intensive support interventions and engage service users with treatment services.
- Minimise Harmful Behavior: Offer guidance in reducing harmful behavior and provide substantial support when needed.
- Holistic Approach: Embrace a person-centered, holistic approach to treatment, addressing all areas of wellbeing to achieve the best possible outcomes.
