We are looking for a full-time psychological therapist to provide individual and group talking therapy for those struggling with problematic substance use across Leeds.
You will join a small but developing team of psychotherapists to expand the provision of psychological interventions. You will be supported by the principal clinical psychologist within the team and have access to regular supervision, opportunities for CPD and a well-established multi-disciplinary team.
- Main duties of the job
- To provide specialist psychological therapeutic input into Addiction Plus services
- To work autonomously and make appropriate clinical decisions.
- To provide high quality psychological assessment, formulation and therapy across the range/ severity of clinical presentations.
- To work in hubs across the city of Leeds
To contribute to multi-discplinary team working, working alongside colleagues across the partnership. - To offer advice on service user’s psychological care to colleagues and other relevant agencies, working within professional guidelines
- To provide a key role in psychological aspects of service development in service areas of primary responsibility.
- The post holder will communicate with numerous internal and external individuals, teams and services.
- The type of communication will include highly sensitive, confidential, complex and technical information.
