As a Speciality Doctor, the successful candidate will work within an experienced clinical team alongside Clinical Services Lead, Specialist Doctors, Independent Prescribers and Operational colleagues. You will have previous experience of addiction clinical work at a senior level, with the ability to provide sound clinical advice to colleagues and offer support in clinical decision-making.
Essential criteria for this role includes:
- Registered with a license to practice on the GMC register.
- Addiction Specialist Doctor – with extensive experience in addictions with either completed training in general practice or psychiatry.
- Experience of assessing , diagnosis and clinical management of the needs of people using substances, to include meeting the clinical and psychosocial need according to best practice and organisational policy.
- Experience of carrying out general health care including BBV, phlebotomy, health promotion/harm reduction interventions, advice and information.
- Driving licence and access to own vehicle is preferred but not essential.
