Leeds city centre bar to host alcohol-free Christmas party
This holiday season, Leeds is set to see a unique celebration as Ten Bar and Bold AF Events proudly present ‘A Christmas Party with No Regrets’ on 7 December 2023.
Organised with the city’s No Regrets responsible drinking campaign the event will be full of festive atmosphere but without any alcohol.
Elisha Mosley of Forward Leeds coordinates the No Regrets campaign. Elisha said: “No Regrets is about having a balanced approach to drinking. It means having a great night out and an even better next day. The Christmas Party at Ten Bar reflects this. It offers an exciting alternative for everyone who wants to enjoy the holiday season without the influence of alcohol.”
Hannah Taylor of Bold AF Events who is organising the party said: “We believe in creating memorable experiences for people while promoting choice. We’re excited to provide a Christmas celebration that will be full of fun and enjoyment without the need for alcohol.”
“The party will be all-inclusive, so once you buy your ticket you can enjoy as many of the extensive range of alcohol-free drinks options as you want, all supplied by the Alcohol-Free Drinks Company.”
Ten Bar are putting all alcohol drinks out of sight for the evening. Owner of Ten Bar and Voodoo Events Dave Gardner-Chan said: “It may seem crazy as a city centre venue, to stage an alcohol-free night in the run up to Christmas, but we are passionate about people having a good time that doesn’t involve getting absolutely wasted.
“We know we can prove it’s possible to come to Ten Bar, have a great Christmas night and not necessarily drink alcohol. There are some great alternatives out there these days and this is a great chance for people to try them in what will be a really exciting way.”
The evening will feature DJs and a visit from Santa Claus. The team will be going all out to create a venue that captures the full spirit of the Christmas party season.
The Christmas Party with No Regrets will be at Ten Bar on Duncan Street in Leeds on Thursday 7 December 2023 from 6pm-10pm. Tickets are £20 or £15 for students and they are available from Eventbrite.
