The purpose of this role is to work to support people whose lives are affected by alcohol and drug use (predominantly non-opiates).
As a member of the Focussed Intervention Team for Primary Care you will be at the forefront of Forward Leeds drug and alcohol service. The role will involve delivering interventions to people who identify as needing support to address their substance use and are seeking support via their GP. This will primarily relate to alcohol use, but may include non-opiate substances.
We welcome applicants with their own lived experience, who may be looking to work within substance misuse services for the first time.
