The Senior Harm Reduction Social Support Worker will oversee the delivery and development of the Harm Reduction Social Support team in Forward Leeds. You will provide day to day leadership and some management responsibilities for the team. A critical part of the work is to ensure the provision is of high quality and best practice is adhered to.
The Senior HRSS Worker will work as part of Harm Reduction Social Support Team providing substance users within Forward Leeds and the wider community with an accessible, efficient, and compassionate service. This includes working with people that are drinking alcohol at harmful levels. You will support and advocate on their behalf, ensuring as far as possible their health and social needs are met. You will work closely with other agencies and be proactive in establishing links with new partners.
As part of the Harm Reduction Social Support Team, you will provide assertive outreach to drug and alcohol users across Leeds and work with all partners attached to Forward Leeds and external services. You will provide enhanced social support such as housing, benefits and wrap around provision.
