Recovery Coordinator

An exciting opportunity is available for the position of Recovery Co-ordinator covering 9 months of maternity leave, 30 hours a week, based within our Forwards Leeds team. Recovery Co-ordination is a diverse and rewarding role,

Key duties you will undertake are:

  • Managing a caseload, devising, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
  • Facilitating and promoting individuals’ progression from initial engagement, through structured treatment, to self-sustained recovery
  • Reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
  • Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for individuals.
  • Carrying out assessment and some outreach work, attending multi-agency partnership meetings

Rota for a late-night clinic, may be required to work if you have people on your caseload who can only attend appointments in the evening

You would have caseload of opiate and non-opiate clients

Some substance misuse experience would be great – or experience of working in the mental health sector, or experience volunteering in a substance misuse service

30 Hours can be covered in four working days, flexible with this
