The Young Person’s team deliver drug and alcohol related interventions for young people (up to 21 years, or 24 years, depending on vulnerability) across Leeds. The team works on a predominantly outreach basis, delivering one-one sessions in a variety of community settings, including school and home visits. This post will focus on the under 18’s cohort.
The role will include delivery of one to one specialist drug and alcohol treatment for young people (up to age 18) in line with NICE guidance. The candidate will need to be engaging and comfortable with approaching and talking to members of the public and delivering opportunistic brief interventions. Evening and occasional weekend work will be required.
