This is an exciting role, based at 5 WAYS – the aftercare element of Forward Leeds.
The successful applicant will join a team of experienced group-work facilitators and will be required to support adults leaving treatment. Providing support through a range of group-work interventions, encouraging peer-support and various activities to support people moving forward into recovery.
As directed by the service manager, you will be an integral member of a dynamic multi-agency team, using your abilities and skills to:
- Develop and deliver a range of group work interventions and activities
- Communicate effectively with a range of people
- Support service users to make decisions regarding their treatment and recovery
- Support service users to access resources and services to increase their recovery capital to help them achieve their recovery goals.
