Early Help Hub Drug and Alcohol Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced drug and alcohol worker to be part of a multi-disciplinary team within the Early Help Hubs that support families and young people. The Hubs are part of Families First which is seen as an exemplar nationally. These posts will play a critical part in transforming Early Help and making a difference to children and families. Candidates will have excellent knowledge of drugs and alcohol and have experience of delivering interventions to children and young people impacted by drug and / or alcohol use. They will also have an excellent understanding of the impact of drugs and alcohol on the wider family and be experienced in safeguarding matters and an advocate of Think Family Work Family approach.

The successful candidate will be co-located with the Early Help Hubs and work city wide as part of a multi-disciplinary team. They will work with children and young people and professionals to improve understanding of the impact substances can have on both children and adults and work to produce the best outcomes for the family.
