We are looking for a Community Safety & Assertive Outreach Officer with experience in the substance use field for this exciting role within our Forward Leeds service. The successful post holder will make a positive difference to communities affected by drug-related waste. You will act on information that you receive on drug-related waste. You will collect or ensure the appropriate service collects the waste.
You will be confident to engage with our stakeholders; including people outside of drug and alcohol treatment processes. You will work closely with your colleagues in Forward Leeds. Support to pharmacies that provide needle exchanges will be an essential part of your role. Some weekend working may be required.
