
Find out all about the Leeds hub for those in recovery from substance misuse issues
On Tuesday 24 May, 5 WAYS will be highlighting the range of work they do to support the Leeds recovery community with an Open Day.
It’s a great opportunity to find out more about how the service supports people across Leeds to remain abstinent from alcohol and/or drugs and everyone is welcome to attend.
At the Open Day 5 WAYS will be running taster sessions of a number of activities.
A mini-exhibition and tours of the facilities will also run throughout the day. Doors open at 10am and close at 4pm.
Scheduled events are:
10.30am Stigma and how it affects us all (taster group 30-40 mins)
11.30am Mindfulness (15 mins)
12.00pm An overview of 5 Ways from staff and members followed by Q&A (45 mins)
1.30pm Drug and Addiction Awareness (taster group 30-40 mins)
2.30pm Mindfulness (15 mins)
3.00pm An overview of 5 Ways from staff and members followed by Q&A (45 mins)
Light refreshments will be available throughout the day.
