5 WAYS celebrates 3 Years with 2 Events

5 WAYS, the Leeds recovery hub will be celebrating three years of successes with two events in July.

Open Day

On Tuesday 16 July 5 WAYS will be  highlighting the range of work they do to support the Leeds recovery community with an Open Day.

Jo Byrden, Manager of 5 WAYS said: “We have had a really successful three years so far. There are so many positive stories. Service users moving into employment and training. We’ve run a number of courses ourselves including Health and Social Care and Mental Health Awareness. Our drama group even put on a production of Macbeth this year. Plus our everyday popular activities like our arts and crafts groups and our allotment are flourishing”.

Jo continued: “Our good work has been picked up on a number of occasions by the local media so we have been featured in the Yorkshire Post, on Radio Leeds and on Look North twice”.

At the Open Day 5 WAYS will be running taster sessions of a number of activities, Jo Byrden and some of the current members of 5 WAYS will be presenting an overview of how 5 WAYS people to maintain abstinence and visitors will be able to sit in on a sustained recovery group meeting.

The Open House event will run from 10:30am-3pm on the 16 July.
