Bill Owen, our Early Intervention and Prevention Manager, has been recording advice for broadcast on local radio over the Christmas period.
In line with the Forward Leeds Keep Calm at Christmas campaign, Bill has been sharing some of our Tips for Safer Seasonal Drinking with local radio stations Radio Aire and Heart Yorkshire.
Bill’s advice includes tips on keeping yourself safe, slowing your drinking, watching your measures and ensuring that you do not accidentally end up being the entertainment for others.
Bill’s advice will be used over the radio stations across the region in the run-up to Christmas and in particular ahead of “Mad Friday”, the most popular night for office Christmas parties and for people eager to get out on the town.
