Aim:

The half-day course aims to build practitioners’ knowledge, skills and confidence to address and reduce harm from cannabis misuse in young people.

Objectives:

  • To provide practitioners with information on young people and cannabis use.
  • For participants to gain knowledge about the effects of cannabis on young people.
  • To provide resources and techniques to build confidence in offering support and brief advice for people affected by cannabis use.
  • To increase awareness of the types of support and services available to young people and their families who are affected by cannabis use.
