Forward Leeds figures show successes

Forward Leeds have just had the figures back for the first quarter of of the 2017/8 year and they are impressive.

The figures for successful completions, that means people exiting the service, for April to June show that we have beaten our quarterly target with a total of 415 people leaving treatment. That’s 415 people who have had their lives dramatically improved through the support and care that Forward Leeds offer to people with substance misuse issues.

During the same three months 145 clients successfully completed a detox through Forward Leeds. That is made up of 114 alcohol detoxes, two detoxes for benzodiazepines and 29 for opiates.

Detox is an important first step for people to overcome their problems with any substance issue. We continue to help and support these people to the time where they feel they are ready to leave treatment with Forward Leeds.
