Forward Leeds announces Recovery Capital Fund

Forward Leeds is investing up to £5000 in ideas to support the Leeds Recovery Community.

Called the Leeds Recovery Capital Fund it has been established to invest in ideas that can help people in recovery or show our city what a thriving recovery community can give back to Leeds.

Forward Leeds Manager Sue Northcott said: “We are hoping people will come forward with innovative ideas to kick start something new for the Leeds Recovery Community. That might be something they need £200 to start or £5000, as long as it’s supporting recovery in Leeds. The whole bidding process is very light touch so we hope lots of people will pitch their ideas to us.

“We’d love to see ideas from individuals and lived experience organisations that can really benefit our city and the recovery community as a whole. We don’t have any pre-conceived ideas of what we are looking for, the field is wide open”.

People bidding for the first round of funding will need to have their bids in by Sunday 19 May 2024. They can then pitch in-person or online to the Leeds Recovery Capital Fund Board on 22 May 2024.
