The Forward Leeds Family Plus and Young Persons team got together with BARCA-Leeds to host a party for clients and their families at Leeds City Museum on 24 August 2017.
This was to celebrate five years of Child Friendly Leeds.
At the party there was face painting, Magic Tom doing tricks and balloon modelling, a smoothie bike, a photo booth, crafts, giant games and much, much more.
Almost 100 families attended the party.
Grace Carr who helped to organise the event said:”It was lovely to see the variety of people coming and really getting involved with the different activities”.
Grace continued:”It surpassed our expectations. Everyone seemed really delighted, especially with the smoothies, face painting and Magic Tom”.
Child Friendly Leeds is an initiative by Leeds City Council with the ambition for Leeds to be the best city for all our children and young people to grow up in. Child Friendly Leeds is the initiative for everyone who shares this ambition.
