Forward Leeds we have developed a new leaflet called A Guide to Synthetic Cannabinoid Receptor Agonists (spice). This has been developed with advice from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service and the Public Health team at Leeds City Council
The aim is to provide simple information about SCRAs (sometimes called spice) to the public, bust some of the myths that exist around SCRAs and let people know what to do in the event of seeing someone they feel may be suffering the effects of SCRA intoxication.
The leaflet is designed for those working in the city centre such as Street Liaison Officers, police, PCSOs, Street Angels, Street Rangers, Evening Ambassadors, City Centre Management, those who work in the city centre and members of the public.
These have already begun to be distributed across the city through Leeds Council, the Street Outreach Service and the new Safer Leeds: Street Support team.
If you would like copies of these leaflets you can download a copy from link below, contact Forward Leeds on 0113 887 2477 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Printed copies of the leaflet can also be obtained through Leeds Council’s Public Health Resource Centre.
In addition there is a smaller leaflet just called Spice.
It contains some simple advice and warnings and is aimed at those who may be using or considering using these drugs
