The Sustained Recovery team work with people who are stable on all medication, have no illicit use and have a positive, active attitude to their recovery.
The team consists of Recovery Champions and Building Recovery in the Community (BRIC) workers. They aim to promote and create awareness of recovery and challenge stigma.
The Sustained Recovery team support the three Leeds Hubs – Irford House in Seacroft, Kirkgate in the city centre and Armley Park Court as well as the Recovery Academy off Burley Road. They also work with other Forward Leeds teams.
The team can offer assessment, recovery support, relapse prevention, confidence and social mobility building interventions, mutual aid group work and attending/sign posting onto relevant community agencies.
The Sustained Recovery Team provides and encourages community participation and engagement in meaningful activities that support an individual's sustained recovery.
